The Vtech InnoTab is actually based on high end gadgets of today, like touch screen phones and Epads.  According to the people behind this product, educational toys like this one should also keep up with modern technology.  This has a 5 inch colored touch screen complete with a tilt sensor that allows kids to interact through touching, flicking, and dragging.

With the Innotab, your kid can have access to interactive E books.  This is actually a great way to get your kids interested in reading if books just don’t cut it.  What is nice about this is that it has narrator and other sound effects that make it more appealing to the younger kids and by interacting with the characters, your child can actually learn vocabulary, phonics, and comprehension. 

Aside from that, there are tons of other games, activities, and tools that they claim are fun and educational at the same time, like the virtual coloring book and the art studio application.

Another thing that is pretty neat about this product is that you can actually customize it to fit your kid’s likes and interests.  All you really have to do is sync it to your PC, download what you want, then sync.  Or you could also get the different software cartridges if you want to change the programs for your child.
