Hottest Christmas Toys 2010
Toy companies release there hot list of toys just before the holiday season. I'm not really sure where they get
the lists from or how exhaustive their 'research' is. Maybe it is as simple as the toys that are leaving the
shelves the fastest that make the list. With this said, here are few toys that are predicted to be hot this year.
They are the hottest Christmas toys 2010.
The toys are far more sophisticated these days than when I was young. This is especially the case for infant or
toddlers toys. The plain old fluffy toy or rag doll that a child might play with and develop into his/her special
friend is far more high tech in 2010. One example of this is the Sing-A-Ma-Jig
toy. It's a fluffy toy of indeterminate species. It's kind of a cross between a mongrel dog and a flea bitten
teddy bear.
The ears are misshapen and the arms are of different lengths but it's more about what's inside than out of
course. These little soft toys sing and chatter. They can sing all sorts of songs and each particular sing-a-ma-jig
sings their own specific song. The fun part comes when you get a few of them together. The sing in harmony. This is
so cute and fun that you'll want to get the whole set and just watch then go through their
paces.
For older children there seems to be more emphasis on building and creating their own worlds with toys.
Lego sets and other play sets that allow children to build an
imaginary town or environment look to be hot this year. The Lego sets go a step further.
They allow you to build a little world and play with
it or use the set to play a board game. The set provides the board game rules and this allows more than one
person to play with the set. Even Adults can play with it.
Video games and gaming consoles are always a popular toy or gift at Christmas but the big thing in this industry
is the release of the motion sensor devices for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. For PS3 it is called Move. For the Xbox 360 it is called Kinect.
Both toys turn your game console into a Wii style gaming console. They look much better than the Wii
though and the Kinect doesn't even need you to use a controller. It is completely 3d and follows every movement
that you make with your body. Sound great and something I am itching to get mu hands on.
These are just a few of the Hottest Christmas Toys 2010. Of course there are many
others to choose from and no doubt your children can also give you some sound advice on the best toys to get. Check

suit.
